Zachary’s 100th Day of Kindergarten

Monday was Zachary 100th Day of School. His assignment was to make a poster with 100 things on it. We used stickers so we wouldn’t have to worry about glue and I chose space themed stickers for him since he keeps bringing home space themed books from the school library! He also had to write the numbers 1-100 on his poster. The whole project took a few days, some arm twisting and bribing, and lots of encouragement.

In the end, we had one very proud little boy! (Although you can’t see the numbers because they are written in pencil, they are all there!)

The kindergartners decorated hats, got certificates, and put 100 chocolate chips on a cake as part of their celebration! I just love this exciting day in kindergarten – I even blogged about Gabbie’s 100th day right here!

Have a great weekend!

I remember my 100th day of Kindergarten! We had to being 100 of something in a brown paper bad. I brought in red hot cinnamon hearts, :)

Zachary's poster is so cute and I love the picture of him in his hat!

I think we did this up to grade 5 at my elementary school! Or maybe I only remember it because the kindergarteners were so excited? I'm unsure.
