I shared a little about our Hanukkah celebrations in last week’s Currently post, but as it’s 8 days of fun, there is a lot more to share!
The kids take turns lighting the menorah each night.
Night 1:
Night 2:
Since Gabbie had dance and got home late on the 2nd night, she got to do her own lighting.
Night 3:
We went to Hanukkah on Ice. Mitchell Schwartz from the Chiefs was there to light the menorah.
The kids enjoyed the ice skating!
Zachary wanted me to take a picture of him in the middle. What’s with the orange photo bombers though?
I had some fun taking pictures of the lights.
Gabbie and friends:
Back at home…
Zachary got the game Chameleon and Gabbie and Simon got the Instax Camera to share.
Night 4:
Gabbie and Zachary got Jewish holiday prayer books and Simon got the Perplexus Epic.
Night 5:
How awesome is Gabbie’s sweater? You can flip the sequins to light each candle!
Presents from my brother and his family: Gabbie got 5D painting sets, Simon got a Roblox gift card, and Zachary got a trip back to iFly! My brother also gave our gift to my niece and nephew that same night so they called us and we got to talk to them for a bit, which was fun.
Night 6:
I didn’t take any pictures. Gabbie got an essential oils bracelet, Zachary got a few books, and Simon got a Rubick’s Cube set which everyone has been playing with. We also got an extra surprise gift from my blog friend Leslie who sent us a copy of a book she reviewed called Hello Universe.
Night 7:
Gabbie got these flip flops with the name of her dance school on them (as well as a backpack that wasn’t in yet). Zachary got another game, this one called Decipher. Simon got a Lego set.
Night 8:
I cut Gabbie out of this picture because she was closing her eyes. All three kids got their yearly calendars. Gabbie also got a puffy keychain, Simon got socks, and Zachary got the Lorax DVD!
We went to our friends’ Hanukkah party and I love taking pictures of all of their menorahs lit up in the window!
That’s a wrap on this year’s Hanukkah celebration!
