It’s the end of the month so it’s time to look back at April in review. It’s been a month full of dogs, cleaning, and appointments.
Daily Life
I had a dog or two (or three) here just about every day this month. Bella the schnauzer was the cutest! My regulars think they live here by now. And my newest customer is Luca, a friend’s dog. He’s easy!
I substituted at preschool again and got a cold. I still have a clogged ear right now!
It’s Passover this week, so that’s how we’re closing out the month.
Birthdays
Gabbie celebrated her 19th birthday away from home. She went with her roommate and her roommate’s mom to see Olivia Rodrigo.
School
School is winding down, even though we’re finally on spring break. The boys only have 3 weeks to go after that! Gabbie also is almost done with school. She was able to come home again for Passover though, so that was good! We went to see Simon in his middle school production of And Then There Were None. He did a good job!
Activities
Zachary went on a camping trip to watch the eclipse and it seems like he had fun. Simon had his youth group weekend and Zachary also went along as a junior advisor.
Health / Fitness
I was feeling really awful this month. Bloated and so tired every afternoon. So I switched things up a bit and I’m feeling a lot better. I even lost a few pounds. I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep that going, but here’s to hoping!
In other good news, the dentist says Simon doesn’t need braces! That’s 1 out of 3 who didn’t inherit my crooked teeth!
TV
I’m still watching The Dog House. The 3rd and 4th seasons don’t seem to be available on my regular website, so I’m sad about that! I watched the Billy Joel concert on TV as well.
Reading
This month has been a little slower with reading so far, but over Passover we’ll see how things go! I shared the first half of my month of reading here and will share my 5 star reads tomorrow.
Coming Up
May will bring the end of the school year and Simon’s 8th grade graduation. Gabbie will finish up her first year in college! We leave for our summer trip at the end of May, so I imagine it will be busy around here – but definitely not as busy as last year!
How was your April?
