I mentioned a few times that we took a trip last month, but I haven’t started posting about it yet. This trip happened because Dave had a work conference in Georgia, about an hour from Atlanta. I hate when he travels and leaves us behind, especially when the kids aren’t in school. So I started scheming a way to come along! I have a friend who lives in South Carolina, about 3.5 hours from where the conference was held, and since I had never been to SC, I decided her town would be a good destination. But first, Atlanta. My brother lives there, so we got to see him, my sister-in-law, and my niece as well! They met us at the hotel with pizza, and we went swimming. Those photos were included in my swimming post.
The views of Atlanta from our hotel were pretty cool!
Dave and the kids met up with some friends of ours for dinner, but I was so tired, I just collapsed in the hotel! The next morning, we set out to see a bit of the city, starting by taking the light rail to the Municipal Market.
Next, we visited the Martin Luther King historic site.
There was more to see that afternoon, but that will be in my next Atlanta post!
