It’s been years since I’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve. For the last few years I’ve been awake at midnight, but it’s meant very little to me as it passed. This year will not be any different! However, if there was a ball I was attending tonight, and there is a fantasy ball being hosted by two of the bloggers (Rachel and Jessica) that I read, here is what I wish I could wear:
And here are my answers to the questions!
What was the best part of 2012?
I’ve been trying to decide how to answer this all day and I can’t seem to settle on the best part of 2012! It might have been our Disney World trip in January, it might have been the summer. Maybe it was October and November with all of our trips. Or maybe it was just all the fun times we had together as a family!
What was your favorite song/book/movie of 2012?
Song – Home by Phillip Phillips.
Book – The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Movie – the only one I saw in the theater was Les Miserables, and the only other one I watched was The Hunger Games – loved them both.
What was your biggest accomplishment of 2012?
Training for and running the 1/2 Marathon. A year ago I couldn’t even run for one minute, much less one mile. Even though I didn’t run 13.1 miles without stopping, I still came a long way to be able to complete the 1/2 Marathon in 3 hours! (The clock time in the photo below is not our correct finish time due to the staggered start!)
What are you looking forward to most in 2013?
I actually don’t know. We don’t have any huge plans made yet. I certainly hope we’ll get to take another awesome family trip to Disney World!
What are your New Year’s Resolutions?
My goal this year is to complete the 35 things to do in my 35th year list that I made in honor of my birthday. So no New Year’s resolutions!
See you next year! 🙂
