If you thought I was done sharing all about my summer travels, you’d be wrong! At the beginning of August, Dave had another work conference that we were able to tag along on, this time to St. Louis. It is only a 3.5 hour drive from here and has a ton to do, so we were all excited about the trip. The first place that we visited was Grant’s Farm, which is the historic home for the Busch family of Budweiser fame. It is free to visit, other than a fee of $12 for parking.
First, we got to see the Clydesdales from the Budweiser commercials.
Next, we took a tram ride to see the nature reserve.
The tram brings you to an area with more animals, shows, etc.
It was hot, so the kids got wet.
The animal show was pretty neat.
I like taking photos of carousels!
There is also a Bavarian farm area where you can get free beer, if you like that sort of thing.
More about St. Louis next week!
