Our big trip to Israel this summer happened because our nephew got married. So not only did we get to experience the country, but we also got to experience a unique Israeli wedding. It was like a full-on disco party with lights and smoke and my camera was refusing to focus! It was also a ton of fun.
First, a few nights before the wedding, Gabbie and I got to attend the Henna Celebration for the bride. I thought she would get henna drawn on her hands, but instead it was just applied to her palm. We got to do it too!

Our table. Besides for us, no one else spoke English! That’s my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my sister-in-law’s nieces and other sister-in-law, and Gabbie.

Me, my sister-in-law, and my mother-in-law dancing with the cookies. It was supposed to be a symbol for a sweet life!
And now, photos from the wedding!

The wedding was a lot of fun and I’m so glad we got to be there!
