My kids love animals and they love books, so they were very excited to receive these fun books from Studio Fun International, in partnership with the ASPCA.
We received four Level 2 Rescue Readers books which are perfect for early readers and for me to read to Simon. He chose to read McKinley’s story to read first and he loved that McKinley is a real dog. Each of these stories are inspired by a real-life rescue story! Simon also liked that the book was written from McKinley’s point of view and he wanted to know if McKinley really wrote the story!
We also received a more advanced Pet Rescue Club book called A New Home For Truman. I am hopeful that Zachary will read this book soon as it is right on his level. He has already read and enjoyed the story of Nibbles the Guinea Pig. Finally, we received a Color and Counting book called Mix and Match Pets, which we sent home with our baby cousin!
I love that the importance of care, protection, and love of animals is incorporated into each of these books. Four to five percent of the purchase price of every book goes directly to the ASPCA to help continue its mission. The stories are available in paperback, library binding hardcovers, and e-books. The paperback books are priced at $3.99 (each) or $15.96 (for all four) everywhere books are sold, including on Studio Fun’s website.
We have two extra books to give away – I Am Daisy and I Am McKinley! Use the form below to enter:
