On our last morning in Disney World, we did some resort exploring! There is so much to see inside each hotel and I always love checking out all the various Disney themed decorations. I shared some pictures of the Swan and Dolphin in my first Disney post as well.
We started out by the Boardwalk Inn, where Dave and the boys rented a surrey.
They left Gabbie and I to explore inside the Boardwalk Inn. There was a very cool carousel made of chocolate.
At the Yacht Club, there was a holiday train set that was a lot of fun to see!
We met back up with the boys and headed over to the Contemporary Resort for our scheduled breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. All of the character dining options had been booked solid, but a spot opened up just before we left, so we took it. Also, you can get kosher food at all (I think!) of the sit down restaurants if you call ahead.
The kids enjoyed posing with the characters. Simon had them all sign the notebook he’d brought with him.
There was an It’s A Small World / Frozen themed gingerbread display in the Contemporary as well.
Our next stop was the Polynesian Resort, where I had never been before.
All of the resorts’ Christmas trees followed the theme of the hotel they were in.
We next visited the Grand Floridian.
There was a gingerbread house to check out in the lobby.
For our last resort visit, we took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and switched over to the boat to the Wilderness Campground.
The whole point of going on the boat was to see where the water crosses over a road! We also checked out how people set up their campgrounds at Fort Wilderness.
We took the boat back to the Contemporary, where we had parked earlier!
From there, we drove down to South Florida for the next part of our adventure!
