It’s closet organization time! Really, it is. Only I haven’t started yet. Hmm. Well, organizing my closet is in the plan. And Zachary’s, and probably Gabbie’s. However, instead of doing that, I decided to make a smoothie. And I’m here to share how I did it!
We get fresh vegetables from a local farm every week and I’ve been experimenting with a few different types of salads (this beet salad was really yummy!). The one vegetable that always remains leftover is kale. (We’ve made kale chips a few times, but last time we didn’t use the kale we got.)
So when I started making monster smoothies earlier this spring, I decided when we got kale I’d use it for a green smoothie. And today I did!
Ingredients used: Kale, yogurt, blueberries, bananas, peach. The honey was a maybe.
And of course ice! The hardest part for me is breaking up the ice in my small blender.
Doesn’t that look yummy? Well, that’s because it’s just yogurt, blueberries, and a peach!
Don’t forget to add the kale!
There we go, a nice green smoothie. I tasted it to be sure it was sweet enough, which it was.
Here it is in my green mug all ready to be drank!
