I’m back! I bet you didn’t notice that I left, which is the beauty of scheduling posts in advance. I almost failed at that though – we had been planning to travel to New Jersey to be present for Dave’s parents’ 50th Anniversary party, and our itinerary had us arriving on the 25th – two days before the party. However, our niece had a baby boy the week prior and his brit milah was scheduled for the morning of the 25th. We thought it would be worthwhile for us to change our flight in order to attend – and we were able to leave a few days earlier to make it on time! However, this surprise change of plans left me with less time than I had planned on to schedule blog posts! I made it though, and now I’m back with much to share!
I know this is blurry, but I was laughing at how cute he looked wearing the knit hat I made him!

At the bris – father, grandfather holding baby, and great-grandfather.
This is my nephew who will be 18 soon. He was born just after I met Dave. He is uncle to the baby and I am Great Aunt!
Saturday night was the big anniversary party!
My brother-in-law parked a car on his lawn to introduce the 60s theme!
Table settings, cookies, cake, and Simon.
Gabbie’s hair was straight – can you tell?

Towards the end of the party, members of the family put on these 50th Anniversary shirts and posed with the honorees!
This picture includes children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, great-nieces and great-nephew.
This is all the grandkids that were there, aside from Simon, who was exhausted and ran out of the picture. There are also 5 more grandsons who are in Israel! And of course, this includes great-grandchild #1!
And here are the 3 children and the honorees! Plus me and Gabbie!
I have much more from our trip to share, so I will return next week with more posts!
