Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I’m joining in for Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce.
1. What’s a skill you think everyone should have?
How to cook something – a meal, preferably! I never really learned to cook and it’s not easy for me.
2. Do you have a special place or organizational system for gift wrapping? Do you still buy ‘real’ cards to send for birthdays, anniversaries, get-well, etc?
I very rarely use wrapping paper. I have a box in the basement with various gift bags and if I’m giving a gift I try to find one I can use from my stash. I don’t buy cards but usually just use blank cards for gifts. I did buy some Mazel Tov cards for all the bar and bat mitzvahs we were attending, but I ran out!
3. It’s National Banana Day…are you a fan? What’s your favorite thing to make with bananas or, if you’re not a cook, your favorite thing to eat that contains banana?
I don’t mind them but I don’t eat them much. I have made banana bread in the past.
4. Do you believe in second chances? Elaborate.
I guess I do. But real change has to happen for the same issue not to pop up again.
5. What is your idea of fun?
Exploring somewhere new with my camera and my family.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I substituted last week at preschool and I guess I caught something from the babies because now I have a cold. Simon says he’s getting a cold too and his play is this week! I’m looking forward to spring break starting on Friday.
Tell me your answer to any of these!
