Time for some random Friday rambles!

On Saturday night, Dave and I went with a group of friends to an Escape Room. We went over Thanksgiving weekend as well, and this time we actually escaped! However I was a little annoyed because one of the things we had to unlock did not seem to be working right and when I complained to the guy who came in to help us with it, he wasn’t very kind about it. Guess we won’t be going back to that location again!

I went to sleep before midnight on New Year’s Eve. I’ve always thought the whole countdown to the new year thing is silly! However, we did go to Science City for their Noon Year’s Eve celebration where they did a balloon drop at 6 pm! We also built a Knex bridge as a family – that took teamwork!

I finished my crochet temperature blanket. I did it all in single crochet, basing the colors on the high temperatures of the day. I think if I did it again, I would use the average temperature, or the low in the winter and the high in the summer, to create more of a color difference! It turned out to be a little short width-wise and a little long length-wise to be a twin blanket for Simon!

We have our friends’ dog staying with us again. He’s cute, but also annoying. I’m not use to having a pet!
