Since I recently decided I want to collect Rae Dunn Mugs and Starbucks You Are Here Mugs, I realized that I need a better way to store them and show them off! After I received my mug swap from Lacey, I put the mugs she sent me on top of the microwave. You can see my other Rae Dunn Mug hidden behind the mini castle as well.
Ultimately, I would like a display that looks like this:

However, my friends at Cave Tools conveniently offered me the chance to review their Stainless Steel 5 Hook Rack and I thought for now, it might be a perfect mug display rack! The hook rack is technically meant for hanging BBQ tools like the ones I reviewed here, but can be used for hanging anything from work tools to utensils to towels to coats – to mugs!
The rack came with a screwdriver and screws with anchors, but I would have appreciated a bit more instruction. Dave had to help me hang the rack by first determining what size drill bit to use to drill into the wall, inserting the anchors, and informing me that I needed to put the screws first through the little round green pieces and then through the rack before I screwed it in. The silver caps click onto the green pieces for an overall smooth look to the rack.
The hooks aren’t completely far enough apart to fit the mugs side by side, but I am happy with how they look hanging there!
