March Ipsy Glam Bag

This month I received my 29th Ipsy Glam Bag. This month’s theme was “Hello Spring.” Here is what I received:

DSCN5023

toner
NoTS 28 Remedy Balancing Toner – $60 for 3.4 oz, I received .3 oz, a value of $5.29:
28 Remedy Balancing Toner is a mild, natural ingredient based toner that calms and soothes skin while prepping it to absorb other skincare products - such as moisturizers and creams - better. This toner is an essential first step of any skincare routine, absorbs quickly and won't irritate sensitive skin.
20% off with code ipsypromotion20 until 4/30/16.
My thoughts: I liked how it felt and smelled.

blush
Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold – $18 including a makeup brush, making this worth maybe a bit less:
This silky blush gives the perfect sheer flush on the apples of your cheeks. Its natural mineral powder formula reflects light, applies true to colour, is hydrating and feels lightweight on the skin. Each duo features two shades to be worn alone or layered.
15% off with code IPSYMARCH until 4/30/16.
My thoughts: I have other makeup by this brand and I like it. I like that this comes with two colors in one and I applied them both together.

lips
NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Pink Lust – $7:
Doll up your lips with plush and vibrant color! NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick glides on smooth and sets into a striking matte finish. Velvety soft and waterproof, this long-lasting lippie creates a positively polished look with every swipe.
40% off with code NYXBEGONE until 4/30/16.
My thoughts: If this was a different color, I would love it. I put this on and wanted to take it off immediately because the color was much too bright. It was so hard to remove! I have never had a lipstick that stays on so well!

brush
Me me me Loose Powder Brush – $20.21:
A soft bristled, full & dense brush designed to lightly dust powder evenly over a large area for a natural and flawless application.
My thoughts: I didn’t realize this brush was meant for powder and I tried it with the blush above. It was soft and worked for me!

serum
Evologie Intensive Blemish Serum – $28 for .5 oz, I received .33 oz, a value of $18.48:
This Intensive Blemish Serum rapidly banishes visible blemishes, discoloration and surface scars without irritating or drying your skin. The doctor-developed YS3 COMPLEX penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil, delivering natural skin-repairing ingredients and intense hydrators where they are needed most.
20% off with code ipsy20 until 4/30/16.
My thoughts: I used it but didn’t see any immediate differences.

Once again, I pay $10 a month for these bags. I love seeing what comes my way each month! The value received this month was approximately $66.98, a higher value than last month. I was a little surprised that there were two skin cleansing products and a brush, and only two actual makeup items. My favorite item is the blush.
