MetLife Stadium

I have been telling you about our trip to Washington D.C., and that series is still ongoing. On that same trip, we also visited New Jersey for our niece’s wedding. We spent a good amount of time with the family and we also got to see some of our NJ friends. This time, instead of just hanging out together, our friends from college and the kids (theirs and ours) attended an expo at MetLife Stadium. Dave works for MetLife, so he was excited to see the stadium, which opened in 2010, after we moved from NJ. It is also the home of the NY Giants and the NY Jets (which obviously should be considered NJ teams since they play in NJ) and hosts other sporting events, shows, and concerts.

It was a unique experience, made better with good friends!

Loved that you got to go to MetLife Stadium. Believe it or not I have never gone as I am truly not a football person, but still would love to go for a concert maybe in the future ;)

Oh my goodness, what a fun experience for you and the kids! And, I had no idea that the Mets and Giants actually played in NJ. Their names really do need to be changed - ha!

I bet the kids had a ball! My husband has been there. He's from NJ.

I had seen games in the previous Giants Stadium, but not this one!

It's the Jets, not the Mets, but yeah, I've been saying they should be called NJ teams forever!
