Book Survey Part 2

books

Today I’m back with Part 2 of the Book Survey, which I started here. Today features questions 11 – 20!

11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?

When I am asked to review books, I occasionally read out of my comfort zone, and in the past I have done so when I was a book club member.

12. What is your reading comfort zone?

I prefer quick, easy, fun reads that don’t make me think too hard! I hate when I fall asleep after reading a page!

13. Can you read on the bus?

I never travel on the bus, but I do get car sick if I read in the car. I used to read on the train when I took the train to NYC when I was in grad school!

14. Favorite place to read?

In my bed.

15. What is your policy on book lending?

I do it. I only keep my favorite books and I like to share them! However, I once lent a book to someone who never gave it back, and it was one of my favorites! I have since bought a new copy.

16. Do you ever dog-ear books?

Yes, sometimes, especially if the book is already used and older and it doesn’t make a difference.

17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?

No, but I used to highlight my text books.

18. Not even with text books?

See above!

19. What is your favorite language to read in?

English. In the past I have read books in French and Hebrew – not easy!

20. What makes you love a book?

When it has relatable characters and a good story line!

Got any answers to the above that you’d like to share with me? I’d love to hear your replies!

I love an easy read too, I recently read a book for my book club that was a struggle and it put me to sleep every night!

I wish I could read novels in Hebrew, my translation isn't smooth enough to have it be enjoyable!
