Winter Gifts and Entry Decor

Tomorrow is the first day of winter break for the big kids! I was not quite ready to send in teachers’ gifts for Hanukkah, so instead I decided to make winter break gifts. Here is what I came up with:

I went with two themes for these gifts: orange and keeping warm. So these orange felt buckets are filled with a variety of orange items, some of which will be useful for keeping our teachers warm over break!

Some of the items inside: socks, tea, lip balm, gloves, pencil, candy.

Speaking of winter, I changed out my entry way d├ęcor for the new season! When I last showed it to you, it looked like this:

Now it looks like this:

Are you ready for winter? I’m not!

Those buckets are so cute and creative! Do you want to come to my house and create gifts when my kids start school? :-)

Great gift ideas! I did chocolate, an ornament, and a Starbucks gift card.

The teachers are going to enjoy their gifts. How thoughtful!

p.s. I just noticed, but I have those same place mats. I bought them for a photography backdrop. :-)

Lol! I saw the pattern and instantly thought placemats. I didn't realize they came in runners too. I love the colors.

Gorgeousness! No, I'm not ready for winter. I'm already wimping out and it's not even technically winter yet, as my favorite local weather guy keeps reminding me. Yikes! At least there's Disney in January to break it up.

thanks! yeah, we are glad we're going on our cruise in January too!

I love your entry way decor (the whole idea of it and the items)! The gifts were too cool--I'd be stoked to get a gift set like that. =)
