Hanukkah–Seventh Night

Last night was the 7th night of Hanukkah.

Yesterday I mentioned that I wasn’t sure how well last night’s gifts would be received, and the reason for that was because Zachary and Simon had not specifically asked for the gifts that we gave them. Luckily they went over just fine!

Gabbie had been asking for the rubberband loom bracelet kit, and her aunt sent her this one:

She kept saying it was just what she had wanted!

The kids’ other aunt had sent an art set, so while it is definitely something the kids can (and will) all share, I gave it to Zachary as his gift. I thought he might be unhappy, but he liked it!

And because I was going with an art theme for this night, I got Simon this ALEX Toys Early Learning Button Art set, which he was thrilled with as well!

Happy 7th Day of Hanukkah!

Particularly colorful and artful (craftful?) gifts! In the first photo of Gabbie, she looks like a stunning model.

I am so glad it did go over better then you thought and can't wait to see all the creations Gabbie comes up with the rubber band loom. My niece has it and loves it! :)

Fun stuff! I have been buying Alex brand toys recently for v and I am very impressed with the quality. I can't wait to give her bead lacing set for Christmas :)

she's made one bracelet and is working on a new style!

I'm really impressed with this one. for the price, it is great for him skill-wise and educationally with matching colors! It came with so many pictures that you can place on the square, then match the buttons to make the picture!

Glad everything went over well! I had a loom kit when I was around Gabbie's age and loved it.

The set that you gave Simon looks pretty cool. Collin isn't so into coloring but I bet he would like that.

I have heard of those rubber band bracelets--I didn't realize there was kit to go with it! How fun! And I used to have an art set JUST like Zachary's--he's going to get lots of good use out of it :D

they are majorly popular right now! there are a couple different types of kits for them! I also used to have an art kit like the one Zachary got. I remember the pastels were my favorite!
