August Goals

It’s time for my monthly goal sharing post! First, a look back at last month:


  1. Go to the gym and hopefully lose some weight. 
  2. Plan for the 4 weeks between camp and school, henceforth to be known as Mommy Camp.
  3. Order photos from May for Project Life. 
  4. Blog about our trip, as well as other current adventures. 
  5. See the fireworks on July 4. (Yes this is done, but it was definitely a July goal!)
  6. Figure out how to wear makeup.
  7. Prepare for Simon’s birthday party.
  8. Get the kids to do their summer homework.
  9. Buy School Supplies.
  10. Complete at least one thing from my 35 Things list.


  1. I went to the gym 2-4 times per week in July, but I didn’t lose any weight.
  2. Done.
  3. I tried to order my May photos but for some reason they are still pending on Target’s website. I must have done something wrong, though I don’t know what. Now I have a lot of photos that need to be ordered.
  4. Done.
  5. Done.
  6. I have been wearing makeup this month. I can’t say if it looks good or not, though I definitely got a lot of comments when I first started!
  7. Done / Still working on it.
  8. Not done. Zachary is definitely not finishing his. Gabbie is partially done.
  9. Done.
  10. Done with 2 things completed.


  1. Continue going to the gym 3-4 times per week.
  2. Organize and get ready for back to school.
  3. Order photos from May, June, and July.
  4. Finish planning for and hold Simon’s birthday party.
  5. Take the kids for professional pictures.
  6. Prepare for the consignment sale.
  7. Clean up my office / craft room.
  8. Work on some good content for the blog – other than just posts about our adventures!
  9. Organize my new sidebar and create first sponsor post.
  10. Complete at least one thing from my 35 Things list.
