Today I’m linking up with Leslie and Marsha for the 10 on the 10th link up. This month’s topic is 10 Q & As About Spring.
1. List your favorite things about spring. What season do you like best?
I love when the weather is warmer. Not hot, but warm. The flowers and trees starting to bloom and the birds chirping. It feels hopeful. I have called spring my favorite season, as well as summer. I love fall, but I don’t like that it means winter is on the way.
2. What puts spring in your step? What does your favorite pair of shoes look like? When do you wear them?
When it’s about 60 out is when my step is the most springy! I have a hard time with shoes because my favorites are flip flops and tall boots. So I often struggle for something in between. However I have been liking these slip onsthese slip ons that I got from Amazon.
3. Around St. Patrick’s Day we see invitations to “kiss me I’m Irish” on graphic ts and images everywhere. Are you Irish? If not, what would your graphic tee read? “Kiss me I’m…”?
I am not Irish and it is interesting to me how widely St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in the US due to Irish immigration! I actually used to have a pin that said “Kiss me I’m Jewish.” I wonder what happened to it!
4. What flowers would make up your perfect spring bouquet? What is your favorite floral fragrance?
I love sunflowers, tulips, irises, daffodils…really many spring flowers! And I enjoy many floral fragrances as well.
5. Spring cleaning? A necessary evil or overrated? What’s your favorite cleaning tip? Cleaning product?
It’s necessary for us because we do a big cleaning before Passover. I do need a clean out with my closet and other clutter! I always say my best cleaning tip is to get someone to do it for you. I do want to mention that the product I reviewed here worked great when our new foster peed in our bedroom!
6. Slinkies are called spring toys. Did you ever have a slinky? Silly putty? What was your favorite toy as a child?
I almost missed that pun – they are spring toys because they are actually springs! Yes, I had a metal, real slinky, which I liked but smelled a lot like metal! I later had a rainbow, plastic one as well. I was never into silly putty. I think my favorite toy was a paper doll design type kit.
7. When we “spring forward” on March 13, what do you hope to do in that extra daylight?
Take our evening walks before it gets dark!
8. The following colors will be trending for spring: soft lilac, canary yellow, hot pink, salted caramel, scarlet, sky blue. Will you be styling any of these? Is there a color you will avoid?
I certainly don’t wear a lot of hot pink, but the others sound like options!
9. What will you be reading this spring? Do you have a favorite devotional or quiet time routine?
I’ll be reading lots of great books – I hope! I haven’t decided what makes a good spring read. Something light and breezy? Something hopeful?
10. Share an inspirational thought or spring quote. Why does this speak to you?
It’s funny, I used to collect quotes and love them but whenever I’m asked to think of a quote, I come up blank!
Tell me any of your responses for these!
