This month’s topic for 10 on the 10th with Simple Purposeful Living (formerly Perfectly Port) is 10 Items In Your Car. Can you believe I’m not sure I have 10 things in my car to write about? Let’s find out.
1. Booster Seats
I have one child who sits in a booster seat, but I have 4 in my car for carpool!
I think it was Lizzie who mentioned these. I try to get the carpool kids to hang their coats on the hooks so they are less likely to forget them in the car!
3. Phone Cord
Although I sometimes keep it in my bag, more often than not, my extra phone cord is in the car for quick charging.
4. Ice Scraper
Somehow our ice scraper wasn’t in the car when it was needed earlier this winter! But now it is.
5. Umbrellas
I wish I knew where my compact umbrella went…but we have some huge ones in my storage compartment!
6. Zip Lock Bags
Dave came up with this after one too many kids getting sick in the car on road trips (usually Zachary). Now everyone has a big zip lock bag near his / her seat in case he / she needs to throw up. I think the only person who has used one was me! (Ick).
7. Random CDs
Leftover from last summer’s road trip, I haven’t removed my CDs from my car.
8. Glasses
I wear glasses when I drive, but not otherwise, so I keep them in my car.
9. Car Manuals
In case a random warning light comes on, I can easily look up what it means but taking my manual out of my glove box.
10. First Aid Kit
One of my old cars came with a first aid kit and we still keep it in my current car’s trunk! I think we have only used a band-aid from it, but I looked inside and it even contains a blanket, which is good to know!
Do you have any awesome things hidden in your car?
