Although my readers probably haven’t noticed, I try to write my blog posts on a weekly schedule. It helps me stay organized and plan ahead! I do switch it up when necessary, but my basic schedule is: Monday – reviews, Tuesday – ideas or topic discussions, Wednesday – current happenings, Thursday – travel, and Friday – books or Friday Five posts. So, since today is Wednesday which is when I recap current happenings, I thought why not link up with Anne In Residence for her Currently link up? January’s prompt words are: starting, hoping, scheduling, reading, and playing.
[starting]
Obviously, we’re here starting a brand new year! With that comes ideas on how to start anew with various challenges or ideas to make the new year better than the last. I am going to share my goals for 2018 next week and in that post I’ll share what I have planned as far as projects to complete this year. I have started a photography challenge already and I hope to start a new knitting project as well (as soon as I finish the crochet project I worked on throughout 2017!).
[hoping]
I hope this year will be better than last year, for everyone. I hope that we will have lots of fun adventures and fun family times. I’m hoping I can finish the baby present I’m working on for my future nephew. I hope it gets warmer here soon! I’m also hoping for more success for my blog this year!
[scheduling]
I tend to schedule each week as it comes, as far as the kids’ activities and carpools. I schedule my blog posts at the beginning of the month, but I fill in the blanks as I get to them. This week I scheduled time to clean up and organize in my kitchen!
[reading]
Right now I’m reading Sisters Like Us by Susan Mallery!
[playing]
We have had a few family game nights and most recently we played Clue! We also played Ticket To Ride two times so far!
Now tell me something you are currently doing!
