This month, I received my 35th Ipsy Glam Bag. This month’s theme was “Glamazon.” Here is what I received:
Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Teaser – $38 for 5 colors, a value of $7.60:
A matte chestnut shade that’s ideal for creating the perfect doe-eyed look.
20% off with code IPSY20 until 10/31/16.
My Thoughts: A nice neutral eye color when you want something but don’t need a lot. You can also blend it or layer it with other colors.
Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum – $32 for 1.35 oz (of cream, rather than serum), I received .1 oz, a value of $2.37:
Incredibly soothing, it keeps skin hydrated for a full 24 hours.
20% off with code IPSY20 until 10/15/16.
My thoughts: This does feel soothing and is nice to put on at night.
Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme – $28 for .14 oz, I received .05 oz, a value of $10:
Glides on clear and leaves lips plump and pink.
Free Melted Chocolate Lipstick With Purchase with code IPSYGWP until 10/31/16.
My thoughts: I was scared to try this. I finally did just so I could review it! At first, I felt nothing and was happy I had a new lip gloss. After about a minute it started tingling and hurting a small amount. My lips do look pink but I don’t know if they look plumper! I did like that it smelled like strawberries.
tre’StiQue Mini Highlight Stick in Maldives Luminescent – $55 for a set of 5 minis, a value of $11:
This soft cream-gel formula glides on gently—brightening with what we call “adult shimmer,” perfect for any age or time of day.
30% off $40 or more with code IPSYSEPT30 until 10/31/16.
My thoughts: I have a bunch of minis from this brand and I love them all. This went on smoothly and made me look more awake right away.
Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 Styling Treatment – $27 for 4 oz, I received 1 oz, a value of $6.75:
Anyone can get a PhD (Perfect hair Day), thanks to this styling treatment that smooths, volumizes, conditions, strengthens and polishes.
Free Travel-size Full Dry Volume Blast with Orders over $22 with code IPSYDVB until 10/31/16.
My thoughts: This is the first time I have finished a product I received from Ipsy before I posted my review! I have found only the stickiest gels can keep my curls in all day, but this did it too! And I loved the smell of it.
Once again, I pay $10 a month for these bags. I love seeing what comes my way each month! The value received this month was approximately $37.72, which was less than last month, but not bad overall. I think Gabbie will want the bag this month, and my favorite item in the bag was the hair styling treatment.
If you’d like to sign up to receive your own Glam Bag each month, click here! I have 5 free bags to give out – though I’m assuming you have to pay for your 2nd month if you get a free month – so let me know if you want one! If you got this month’s bag, what did you think?
