As I’ve mentioned a few times, my kids have been in camp this summer. They each will have a total of 6 weeks of camp. For the first week, all three kids were at the camp that is run through our local school district. This is the third year we have been going to this camp, although it’s the first time Simon has been old enough. For the second week, the boys continued there, while Gabbie went to sleepaway camp. She is at sleepaway camp for 4 weeks. From the 3rd-6th weeks, the boys are at Camp Gan Israel, a Jewish camp run through a local synagogue, and after Gabbie gets home, she will finish the summer with them at that camp. Complicated? Not as much as our school schedules!
Week 1: Simon did Art and Nature, Zachary did iPads and Nature, and Gabbie did Sewing and Ceramics. (These classes have open houses on the last day of the week.)

Weeks 3-6: I don’t have pictures that I can share because the ones I do have were taken by the camps. BUT – I can share our pictures from visiting Gabbie this past weekend!
Everyone gathered in the gym and the kids did a dance which was supposed to be a flash mob, and we didn’t know where Gabbie was because she was hiding in the back!
The boys were so excited to see her!

Zachary has decided that he’ll be going to camp next summer. Technically he’s old enough now, but we didn’t think he was ready. Proof that he’s the one that should be at camp:
Gabbie is too scared to do the zip line, so she helps with belaying.
Zachary though?
No problem at all. The other boy up there at the same time is a friend of ours from home, and unfortunately he was too scared to do it even though he climbed all the way up.
Zachary didn’t even pause. He just walked right off the edge!
Proof they are really best friends:

Saying goodbye wasn’t easy.
But she’ll be back in less than a week!
