Simon was a very lucky boy when he was chosen to bring Mr. Bear home for a third time even though it was not all that long since Mr. Bear had visited previously. Each child has a turn and they randomly pick the next person for Mr. Bear to visit, so Simon must have been on the late side of one round and on the early side of the next! So yes, Mr. Bear came over again. This time, he wasn’t here for a weekend or a holiday, so we didn’t spend as much time with him as we did the last two times!
The turtle in the picture is called Love-Love after the turtle in kindergarten and he is Simon’s newest friend!
Simon impressed me by using the word list included in the Mr. Bear folder to help him remember how to spell the words he wanted to use.
He told me that he wanted to use the same title as last time: “Me and Mr. Bear.”
He wrote: “Mr. Bear did my homework. Mr. Bear went to dance.”
The picture is Mr. Bear watching Simon dance!
Mr. Bear’s last visit.
Mr. Bear’s first visit.
I don’t see that much of a difference between the last time Simon had Mr. Bear and this time, but like I said, the two visits were pretty close to one another!
