I have been telling you about our trip to Washington D.C., and that series is still ongoing. On that same trip, we also visited New Jersey for our niece’s wedding. We spent a good amount of time with the family and we also got to see some of our NJ friends. This time, instead of just hanging out together, our friends from college and the kids (theirs and ours) attended an expo at MetLife Stadium. Dave works for MetLife, so he was excited to see the stadium, which opened in 2010, after we moved from NJ. It is also the home of the NY Giants and the NY Jets (which obviously should be considered NJ teams since they play in NJ) and hosts other sporting events, shows, and concerts.
We walked out onto the field, pretty cool!
Zachary played some sort of game inside a racecar.
We also got to tour the Giants locker room.
Apparently Geoff Schwartz, who used to be on the Chiefs, is now on the Giants.
It was a unique experience, made better with good friends!
