For this week’s Flashback Feature, would it make sense to share anything but Hanukkah celebrations of the past? I didn’t think so!
2008:
This is our old kitchen in NJ! Gabbie received a felt doll board and Zachary received needle felted fish toys. I was going for the open ended imaginative gifts!
Later that week they received computers from Uncle Mark!
2009:
Our first year in Kansas. Our dining room was still carpeted!
I just noticed Gabbie’s face in the mirror in this picture. How funny!
One of Gabbie’s presents was this tent. And I believe the flashlights were presents too!
2010:
We were stuck in NJ for the first night of Hanukkah due to a rainstorm! You can read about it here but the pictures are missing, so here they are!
All of the kids’ projects were actually posted on my blog two years ago – check them out here!
2011:
You can see the evolution of our dining room from the picture in the same location up above!
All he wanted for Hanukkah was a menorah!
Last year’s Plaza ice menorah lighting
Zachary using one of Simon’s presents. The boys also got those shirts for Hanukkah! This picture kind of cracks me up.
2012:
Night #3
Gabbie is so proud that she gets to light the menorah by herself this year.
The kids all flocked to Zachary’s present – a Playmobile fireman set. Simon’s present is that yellow car you can see in the middle of the fire set with the green man on it, and the red car next to it.
We are still having a great time celebrating Hanukkah and I will have more to share as the week goes on!
