- 3 years ago when I first moved to Kansas, one of the first things I did was hang photos.
- One of the next things I did was get pregnant with Simon.
- Before 3 years ago, I spent my whole life in New Jersey.
- I studied abroad in Israel for 7 months.
- I’ve never been to Europe, but I’ve been to Israel, Egypt, and Jordan.
- I dread the idea of traveling internationally again.
- I desperately want to go on a Disney Cruise.
- My favorite color has long been purple, but lately it’s becoming teal.
- I am not a morning person.
- I don’t really like talking on the phone. I prefer email or talking in person.
- I really like playing Where’s My Water on my iPhone.
- I had braces for the first time when I was 8 and was finally done with them at 14.
- I had chicken pox when I was 14.
- My all time favorite musician is Billy Joel.
- The first concert I ever attended was Debbie Gibson.
- I have seen at least 20 Broadway shows.
- For a long time I wrote letters to people I’d never met in person – pen pals.
- I used to write on a blog called rain-angel.net.
- If I could have a super power it would be the ability to transport myself anywhere in an instant.
- I used to get sick whenever I drank coffee.
- Even though I’ve been running for a good 9 months, I still can’t call myself a runner.
- I taught myself to knit using videos online (and my mom helped with a few things).
- I have a master’s degree in social work.
- On my birthday in history was the first episode of Sesame Street, the charter of Rutgers University, and the founding of the United States Marines Corps.
- I was a huge fan of the show Lost.
- I prefer being at home alone, rather than going out somewhere alone.
- I refuse to try Zumba because I’m really not coordinated.
- I was always one of the youngest in my class in school.
- I used to make friendship bracelets for everyone at camp – I wish I would have charged $1 or so each!
- If I see someone I recognize, usually hearing their name will remind me who they are and how I know them.
- I had 3 c-sections, none of them planned.
- I broke my ankle while I was pregnant with Simon.
- I have lost 3 friends to suicide and I support suicide prevention.
- I am excited because I think the best in life is yet to come!
