A few of the blogs that I follow do a really cool challenge called $10 at Target. The idea is to spend $10 and only $10 buying fun items at Target. This month, I decided to buy the items for a fun package to send to Zachary at camp. Gabbie came along to help me decide what to get. There were actually some fun things to consider as a lot of things seemed to be marked as clearance, especially in the game section.
For example:
This really cool card game called Sneaky Cards was on clearance for $6.28. You play the game by becoming “a secret agent of joy, spreading art and intrigue to an unsuspecting public.” The cards are like a scavenger hunt and you pass the card on to others and then you can track them on the website.
Some card examples: Choose a secret code word and pass the card along to the first person who says it. Take a selfie with a stranger and then give them the card. Hide a card somewhere easy to find. Post the card on a community bulletin board. Pay for someone’s subway fare and give them the card. Let someone in front of you on line and then give them the card. Fun, right? I don’t see them on the Target website, but you can get them on Amazon!
Also, there was an organizational calendar in the dollar spot for $5 that seemed totally worth it to me!
It even has these fun little sticky notes you can use on the day squares!
But anyway, here’s what we found for Zachary!
Slamwich Game – $5.98
Water Gun – $1.99
Sour Punch Bites – $1.39
Total = $9.36!
I hope he likes what we chose for him! What do you think?
