Here’s a little known fact about me – I haven’t updated our dishes since we got married – almost 17 years ago! The truth is we don’t even really use dishes as often as we should and oftentimes rely on paper plates. However, there are some foods that I do use dishes for and I eat most of those foods in bowls! So when I was offered the chance to review Sweese’s 28 ounce porcelain bowls, I of course jumped at the opportunity.
I love the way they look when stacked together!
The kids and I were brainstorming about all the things we might use these bowls for and we came up with the following ideas:
1. Ice Cream
2. Soup
3. Salad
4. Cereal
5. Oatmeal
6. Dips such as hummus or salsa
7. Snacks like potato chips
8. Candy
9. Decorative items
10. Stack them and display!
I’d also love to try making Buddha Bowls! I think these bowls would be great for any one bowl recipe.
These bowls are FDA approved and made of durable porcelain, a type of premium LEAD-FREE and NON-TOXIC ceramic which is chip-resistant and more sturdy than stoneware. The bowls are easy to organize so they take up less room in your cupboard. They have a unique shape which lends to a beautiful presentation on your table. They measure 6.8 x 6.5 x 2.8 inches and 28 oz. They are dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe. They also feature a 30-day No-Chip guarantee.
If I was hoping to update my dishes, I would definitely consider doing so with Sweese bowls and plates, which they also carry in their Amazon store, along with mugs, utensils, canisters, and other kitchen tools. While white dishes have a certain attraction to them, I also love the colorful items that Sweese carries!
