I have been getting the Ipsy Glam Bag for over 3 years now and honestly things are getting a little repetitive, though I still look forward to my pink envelope arriving each month! Reviewing two months at once though makes it pretty obvious that I’m getting mostly the same items from different brands in each package. If there was any other subscription service at such a great price, I’d certainly consider switching over!
February – “Much Love”
Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in I Give Good Tweet – $12:
”Going above and beyond much of the competition, these super shiny formulas are 10-free. (Yes, 10!) Equally fab, the brand is vegan and cruelty free. Plus all the shade names will make you LOL. I Give Good Tweet, a robin’s egg blue, is fresh and fun, no matter the season or the occasion.”

My Thoughts: Used it and liked it! It’s a lovely color for spring.
NYX Professional Makeup Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry – $6:
”ight now this satin finish is our goldilocks texture. Glossy is too much. Matte isn’t doing the trick. But this is just right! These are so insanely creamy that there’s no need to use lip balm beforehand. Ripe Berry is a totally approps name; the hue (which has cool, purple undertones) reminds us of crushed raspberries.”
25% off with code BUTTERUP until 3/31/17.
My Thoughts: I received this exact lip stick in another color from an earlier bag. It’s not a bad product though and I need to get more used to wearing lipstick.
Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser – $32 for 4 oz, I received .5 oz, a value of $4:
”Quite possibly one of the most eco-chic lines, ever, all of the products are supes gentle.”
20 % off with code IPSYRH20 until 3/31/17.
My Thoughts: Seems gentle and cleanses nicely.
Seraphine Botanicals Luminude in Primrose – $24:
“The true gold color looks especially amazing and totally natural on darker complexions, not always the case with highlighters. Since it’s made with evening primrose oil—a superstar for helping with acne, wrinkles, and eczema—you’ll get some serious skincare benefits.”
20% off with code IPSY20 until 3/31/17.
My Thoughts: This is an interesting product because it is part highlighter and part skin care product. I might use it.
Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment Eye Shadow in Latte – $13 for a larger size, my value is probably $5:
”You can use it three ways: Brush it on for a bold metallic shadow, swipe on with your fingertips for a messier smoky look, or use a liner brush and create a gleaming cat eye.”
30% off with code IPSY30 until 3/31/17.
My Thoughts: I love the color and I love that it stays on!
Total Value For February: $51.
March – “Tres Jolie”
Neogen Coconut Milk Pure Mild Cleanser – $31 for 300 ml, I received 25 ml, a value of $2.58:
”As if we need more reasons to heart coconut oil, in cleanser form it softens, brightens, and hydrates skin.”
30% off with code ipsyneogen30 until 3/31/17.
My Thoughts: Another cleanser? I haven’t tried it yet.
Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Blush in Kitty Pink – $14:
”This dusty peach shade looks gorgeous on any and every skin tone. Seriously! Try it on all your friends. It’s perfectly blendable and buildable, so you can pack it on for more concentrated color or dust on softly for a sheer finish.”
20% off with code IPSY20 until 4/30/17.
My Thoughts: I like that this is a pale pink color and I like that it’s buildable and meant to last.
City Color Cosmetics Photo Chic Dark Spot Corrector – $3.99:
”Dark circles? What dark circles? Thanks to its peachy hue, this acts as a color corrector, counteracting any blue and purple tones in your undereye area. Its thicker formula means long-lasting coverage, so there’s no need to stress about mid-day touch-ups (or looking hella tired at 4pm).”
30% off with code IPSY30 until 4/3017.
My Thoughts: I used this on a few dark spots and freckles and it blended in with my skin well.
tarte cosmetics tarteist quick dry matte lip paint in delish – $20 for 6 ml, I received 1 ml, a value of $3.33:
”Vegan-friendly, this brand defines eco-chic. Whether you want bright and bold or nice and neutral, there’s a shade for that.”
20% off with code IPSYMAR until 4/30/17.
My Thoughts: Another lipstick? I haven’t tried it yet.
Blending Brush by Elizabeth Mott – $15:
”The synthetic bristles are not only cruelty-free, they’re super durable. Translation: won’t shed all over the place. These same bristles also are perf for applying and smudging cream shadows, since they won’t absorb too much product.”
50% off with code BLENDING50 until 4/30/17.
My Thoughts: It’s my favorite color and I like how it works too.
Total Value for March: $38.90.
Once again, I pay $10 a month for these bags. As you can see, February’s value was higher than March’s value. I liked the products in both bags, but like I said, the products are getting a bit repetitive. My favorite product of these two months was the eye shadow. If you’d like to sign up to receive your own Glam Bag each month, click here! I have 5 free bags to give out – though I’m assuming you have to pay for your 2nd month if you get a free month – so let me know if you want one! If you got this month’s bag, what did you think?
