A few of the blogs that I follow do a really cool challenge called $10 at Target. The idea is to spend $10 and only $10 buying fun items at Target. This is the 4th month I have participated – see June’s challenge here!
This month, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was looking for, other than a box of envelopes. Since I’d been writing to Gabbie at camp, I realized that I didn’t have a box of small letter-sized envelopes and I thought I could use one! Other than that, I basically checked out the clearance areas in the store.
The calendar was not on clearance, but I had just finished my 2015 version. This is where I write down the kids’ activities and keep track of things!
Here’s what I ended up with:
Macrame Backpack Charm – $2.98 |Calendar – $4.99 | Chalkboard Marker – $.60 | Envelopes – $1.14
I figured Gabbie might like this at camp.
My chalkboard still says “Happy Birthday Mommy” from November! Partially because our marker ran out.
This is where I hang up my calendar!
Total after tax and Red Card discount: $10.08.
What do you think?
