You know all of the photos I post on my blog? I very rarely print them out. Sometimes I make books using the photos, but that usually takes me awhile. Coincidentally, I was contacted by inkdot.com while I was in NJ, and I realized that their offer would be a good way for me to quickly get a print of something from our trip. While inkdot offers square prints, and I could have chosen to have several made, instead I decided to order a wood print of one of the pictures I took on the trip.
I almost chose one of my Statue of Liberty pictures, but instead I chose the best picture of the three kids that I took on the trip.
Prints from inkdot can be printed directly from Instagram and many other websites, or uploaded to their site from any device. The wood prints are ready to hang, with no frame needed, and even come with a screw and anchor in order to make hanging easy. The prints are on 5/8” birch plywood and have a coved back which creates a float off the wall effect. They are water and heat resistant and easy to clean with a damp cloth. They are available in many sizes, both square and rectangle. I decided to stick with a square print!
The included screw and anchor.
My front entry way with a blank space for a new picture.
It would be cool to create a gallery wall full of these square prints from inkdot!
