Last week I told you about our experience at the Freedom Tower. As it turned out, we didn’t get our fill of New York City, and a few days later we returned to the city, this time taking the train to get there.
The first place we visited in the city was Roosevelt Island, which we accessed via the Roosevelt Tramway.
We walked over to the island’s Southpoint Park. The Cherry Blossoms were in bloom along the way!
This is an abandoned small pox hospital:
Next, we had dinner and checked out a few stores in midtown:
Rockefeller Center (the pool above too):
We have a picture of Simon by this same sign when he was little!
Times Square:
It’s still funny for me to be a tourist in NYC, but I did enjoy it!
