February Ipsy Glam Bag

This month I received my 28th Ipsy Glam Bag. This month’s theme was “Pretty In IPSYPINK.” Here is what I received:

DSCN4854

arganoil
Theorie Argan Oil Ultimate Reform Hair Serum – $39 for 3 oz, I received .5 oz, a value of $6.50:
This luxurious hair serum penetrates deep into hair follicles to restore moisture and impart brilliance to lackluster hair. Apply to soften the cuticle, strengthen brittleness and protect from heat styling and environmental stress.
My thoughts: I could hardly get any out of this and I’d probably need the whole jar to use in my hair, but from what I could tell, it felt like any smoothing hair oil!

blush
tre’StiQue Baby Blush Stick in Bora Bora Coral – $34 for full size, I received .04 oz, estimating a $17 value:
A new generation cream-gel blush. Formulated to glide on skin with an elegant silky touch, leaving cheeks with a pop of soft color.
30% off with code IPSYINSIDER until 3/31/16.
My thoughts: I really like the products I have received from this brand. I liked how this blush went on and how it looked too.

lip
ModelCo Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Morocco – $24 for full size, I received .05 oz, estimating a $12 value:
Create a long-wearing, highly pigmented pout with ModelCo LIP LACQUER Lip Gloss. The dense, high-colour gloss lends a luxe touch to your beauty look, and glides on smoothly for a non-sticky, long-lasting finish.
20% off and free shipping for purchase over $39 with code IPSY20 until 6/30/16.
My thoughts: I felt like I had already tried this product, but I couldn’t find it in my collection. I liked that it was a gloss without a lot of added color. Sometimes I just want my lips to be glossy. It was slightly sticky, but that did not bother me.

nailpolish

Ciaté London Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London Paint Pot in Hutch- my go-to red – $24 for .46 oz, I received .17 oz, a value of $8.87:
The limited-edition Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London Nail Collection is inspired by the trendiest shades of the season. Formulated by the fashionista herself, this polish is a long lasting, durable, high-shine lacquer. It's all you need to achieve the look of polished perfection!
My thoughts: I haven’t had a chance to try this yet but I’m happy to add a new nail polish to my collection!

concealer
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in Medium – $24 for .28 oz, I received .11 oz, a value of $9.43:
An award-winning Anti-Aging, full coverage treatment concealer that delivers highly pigmented natural-looking perfect coverage. Bye Bye Under Eye® uses Anti-Aging technology to help treat the appearance of lines, wrinkles and discoloration, conceal dark circles, age spots and redness, conceal facial imperfections without settling into lines and wrinkles; and helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles instantly.
My thoughts: I like how this went on and I think it could be used as a highlighter. The coverage was very nice.

hair
IT Hair Care 12-In-One Amazing Leave-In Treatment – Unknown Price.
A highly efficient Leave in Treatment as opposed to a leave in Conditioner. 12-IN-ONE Amazing Leave in Treatment repairs, protects and strengthens hair, providing 12 amazing benefits with results driven ingredients including our exclusive Abyssinian Oil.
My thoughts: I noticed that some of my Ipsy points had expired before I used them and that I had enough to snag another product this month, so I chose this one. I have not had the chance to use it yet!

Once again, I pay $10 a month for these bags. I love seeing what comes my way each month! The value received this month was approximately $53.80. I had a hard time figuring out the value of a few of the items because I could not tell how big the full size versions were. I also got an extra product this month by using my accumulated Ipsy points that I gain when I review products, etc. My favorite item is the blush.
