St. Louis–Budweiser Brewery Tour

On the last day of our road trip, we stayed in Mt. Vernon, IL. As we drove in to town, we spotted this cool pile of road signs, and I discovered that there was a geocache hidden in it, so I just had to stop there on the way out!

From there, we headed to St. Louis, where we went on the Budweiser Brewery Tour. I was the only one in the family who had not been on this tour before!

I don’t like beer, so I got cider instead. It was good! The kids get soda, so they were happy too.

Hanukkah–Nights 1, 2, 3

Today is the 4th day of Hanukkah and we are back at home. We started our Hanukkah celebration in Florida! My parents live there year-round, and Dave’s parents live about 20 minutes from mine in the winter, so we were able to see both sets of grandparents on Hanukkah this year. On the first night of Hanukkah, we were with Dave’s parents.

On the second night of Hanukkah, we were at my parents’ house, and the gifts for the kids were from them!

I think it is cool how many different types of menorahs there are. I showed you part of my menorah collection in this post, but I didn’t show you the ones we light every night of the holiday, so you’ll have to stay tuned for that!
