As you know from my Thanksgiving Day post, my family joined us for the holiday this year. My brother, sister-in-law, and niece arrived last Monday. One of the first things we did was to show them our local playground, as Simon wanted to push his cousin on the swing!
Simon also showed her his toys:
And when the other kids came home, they were thrilled to see her!
I know Zachary looks funny here, but look how Avery is so interested in his iPad!
My brother was able to attend Gabbie’s Civil War Play, and all three attended VIP Day at the kids’ school. VIP Day starts with a presentation where the classes sing songs for Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. I took my niece and held her while the performance was going on so that my brother and sister-in-law could watch, so I did not take photos. However, my brother picked up my camera and took some photos while Zachary’s class was singing!
By the way, here’s Avery before we went to school!
After the show, there was an activity for the kids and their VIPs, and my kids enjoyed holding their cousin:
That evening, my parents arrived.
On Wednesday, we all went to SeaLife to see the fishies.
