I promised a final post about our trip to Israel this past summer, and this is it! We started out the trip with a hike, so it is fitting that one of our last trips was also a hike. It was on the same day that we visited the Dead Sea, but being that Ein Gedi is on of my favorite places in Israel, I thought it deserved its own post. Ein Gedi is the name of much of the area, but specifically we visited the portion called Nahal David, which is a hike to a waterfall. I have been there many times in the past and I noted that this time there was more water than I remember there being at other times. I also noticed that this time the hike was much more difficult for me! It was quite hot outside, and I found my heart racing uncomfortably! I ended up holding our frozen bottle of water close to my body and that helped me to calm down.
That concludes my retelling of our trip to Israel! I’m so glad we got to go!
