As I’ve mentioned, today is the last day of school. We’ve been super busy with end of school events over the last two weeks!
Let’s start with Simon. Yesterday, the pre-K had their graduation, and Simon’s class participated by singing 3 songs. Unfortunately, he was in front of a glass door so the lighting didn’t make for great photos of him.
I asked Simon a few questions:
-
What was your favorite part of school this year? “Everything.”
-
What did you learn? “Nothing. I think we learned about Hashem (God). On the picture they have a Torah.”
-
What are you looking forward to when you go back to school? “I can’t wait to go to Morah Sherrill’s class!”
-
What do you want to be when you grow up? “A Big Kid! That’s what I want to be.”
Zachary’s class had a picnic at the park last week.
Then this week, they performed a play based on the book “The Day The Crayons Quit.” Zachary was an orange crayon.
Zachary also received a certificate for participating in the 100 Mile Club. He reached 25 miles, which earned him a t-shirt!
I asked Zachary a few questions:
-
What was your favorite part of school this year? “Computers and PE.”
-
What did you learn? “Math.”
-
What are you looking forward to when you go back to school? “Having specials.”
-
What do you want to be when you grow up? “I want to work for MetLife.”
Gabbie’s class had a party, but the parents weren’t invited, so no pictures! However, I was present when she danced in the talent show last week!
Gabbie also got a certificate for the 100 Mile Club (yes they spelled her name wrong)!
I asked Gabbie a few questions:
-
What was your favorite part of school this year? “Our marble parties.”
-
What did you learn? “Multiplication.”
-
What are you looking forward to when you go back to school? “Being with Ms. Safir again.”
-
What do you want to be when you grow up? “A ballet teacher or a teacher.”
Happy Summer!
