Cara Box Fall Swap

I recently participated in the Cara Box exchange via Wifessionals. This time around, pairs were made according to age and life stage, so therefore both of my partners were in their 30s with kids. I sent to Christa at Mom, Paper, Scissors. She is a crafty mom of 2 and you can see what I sent her right here! I received my package from Desiree at Macke Monologues. Crazily enough, Desiree used to live in the Kansas City area and she is constantly commenting on my blog about all the things she has on her to do list for the next time she visits! Desiree sent me an awesome box with things inside for me as well as for the kids!

When I opened the box, I saw how the items were wrapped in tissue paper, and Desiree had written quotes about autumn on the box flaps!

Inside the packages I found:

Blank notecards

DSCN6755
A Starbucks gift card! (I also sent one to my partner, great minds think alike!)

For the kids – placemats for Thanksgiving and stickers!

Décor items which I added to my fall entry way

DSCN6760
Some “bling” in honor of my birthday

DSCN6761
A really fun game, which we all really enjoy playing. The kids have shared it with a few friends and they ask us to play it whenever we see them now!

DSCN6762
Cute tissues and yummy Chap Stick

DSCN6763
Yummy smelling candle – also on my entry table!

DSCN6764
Lovely nail polish in a shade I did not have.

DSCN6766
These didn’t last very long!

I had to decide if I should add these to Simon’s potty jar or eat them myself. Hmm…

DSCN6768
Group Shot!

Thank you again Desiree! I’m so glad I got to meet and become blog friends with both of my partners and I look forward to the next Cara Box round!

How is the Yankee Candle? I wanted to buy that one and still haven't, but huge pumpkin fan. So wondering how you like it. And wonderful Cara Box and looked like you got so many wonderful items!! :)

YAY - I'm glad you like Left, Right, Center! We play it at every family gathering. Sometimes we go crazy and use quarters instead of the playing chips. Winner takes all! :)

I always like getting home decorations. And Left Right Center is the best!!

it smells yummy! I don't usually light candles, but I like to open and smell it once in awhile!

now that is a good idea!

so funny that you've played it before. I never heard of it before this box!

How did you like the quarterly Cara Box? I have been debating doing it again in December.

Wow, you got so many goodies in your box this time! I've always thought about doing it, but worried that I wouldn't have the time to go out and buy things to send. I love that shade of Essie polish and those Thanksgiving gifts for the kids!

it's nice. you have more time to get to know your partner and get their box to them!

now the swap is quarterly, so you get more time to put your box together!

I like that the upcoming one will be organized by state!
