This month’s challenge was to complete a craft for the outdoors. And one of the things on my 35 Things To Do list was to fix our front banister and little tables. (Also, to fix our bench, but that doesn’t seem like it will happen. Read on to see why.)
First up was our banister. It was rusting and chipping like crazy. So I used some cream colored spray paint to fix it up.
Here it is after the paint job.
The tables were quite a mess. Rusting and dirty. I cleaned them up, sprayed the tops white and the bottoms gold.
And here is the bench. Dave says it’s not worth fixing. What do you think?
Here is our front steps currently. Complete with Buzz Lightyear (aka Zachary) looking out the front door.
See the mulch area to the right? It’s completely empty. It needs plants. I don’t know where to begin! By the way, the blurriness of some of the pictures is due to the current humidity outside! Crazy!
