Should I Grow My Hair Long?

My hair has gone through a variety of stages in my life, from frizzy 10 year old hair to short boy cut hair just after I was married. I don’t have any pictures of the short haircut – sorry! My hair has varied in length from that short cut to chin length like it is now, shoulder length, and long enough to reach my upper arms. Of course, the longer it is, the more work it takes, and when it’s longer it’s heavier and bulkier. For some reason though I’ve been thinking I should let my hair get long again. What do you think?

When I first cut it to chin length – it was straightened though I never straighten it myself (I need a straightener!!)

Just after a haircut, not straightened.

My hair long – on a good day.

Long hair or short hair, that is the question!

YES! This coming from someone who is wishing I had the guts to cut my own hair short because it's annoying.

I am partial to long hair, because of me I have very thick course and way hair that when I had short was too big for words. Longer, I can straighten and eve just pull it back if I need. But that is just me. From your pics though, I do very much like your long hair and I say go for it!! :)

I like you in your curls ... so short or long, you should keep it curly!
It gives your hair some definition.

I say curly and chin length.

I agree with the other commenters, I love your curly hair! Of course, I understand that you want it straight sometimes, my hair is wavy and I definitely need either a curling iron or flat iron to be able to wear it down. I'm partial to long hair, but I like yours either way. I say whatever is easiest to manage on a daily basis.

I think your hair looks good in all those pictures! I like my hair both long and short, so I grow it out and keep it long for awhile, then cut it off and start over.

I try to grow my hair out and then it gets raggy looking so then I cut it short. I am very much a short hair person for myself. I like yours either way. I say go with what is easiest to care for.
