Places I’d Love to Visit

I love to travel. OK, that’s not true. I love to see places and visit new places, but I don’t love the process of traveling to get places. I hate the stress involved with packing, flying, arriving, and adjusting, not to mention coming back home, unpacking, doing all the laundry, etc. etc. So basically, if I could just arrive somewhere without the stress, I would love it!

You probably know that I’ve been to a few pretty cool places in the past, including Israel, Egypt, Jordan, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Alaska. Just like most everyone, it’s a goal of mine to visit all 50 of the United States. Here is my visited map so far:

It looks like the only states I have left to visit are: North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and New Mexico! The United States aside, I’ve never been to Europe or Asia or Bora Bora for that matter! Here are ten places I would love to visit if I could snap my fingers and be there (and not have to deal with jet lag either!):

1. Bora Bora [source]

2. Galapagos Islands [source]

3. Ireland [source]

4. Japan [source]

5. Thailand [source]

6. Australia [source]

7. Midway Island [source]

8. Belize [source]

9. Kenya [source]

10. Greece [source]

Have you been to any of these places? Any of them on your list? If not, what is?

Well if you get to Australia, head to Melbourne not Sydney first :)

I've been to Belize and Ireland. Loved them both! If you ever get to Kentucky, let me know. I live just across the river :-)

Love the list. The only places left on mine are Africa and India. Australia is absolutely beautiful, a bit expensive, but totally worth it!

Oh I want to travel to Australia so badly! Marc and I have been talking about how we would like to take Violet to all 50 states before she turns 18.

Bora Bora would be amazing. Greece is probably my favorite place in the whole world! I absolutely LOVE that country.
I think someone should hurry up with the teleportation process already!

My sister in law went to Bora Bora for her honeymoon and she said it was amazing. It's funny, I'm not very interested in visiting other countries, but I have been to Italy. I think I'd like more to visit every state instead. There are some amazing things to see! My favorite states so far have been Hawaii and Arizona. Both made me feel like I was in a different country.

I have been to Ireland and Italy and loved both. I would like to go to Bora Bora and stay in one of those huts on the water.

Greece and Egypt are probably the top 2 on my list. Although I'd love to go to Australia (or a ton of other places) as well.

I've been to Thailand a few times...and I've glimpsed Japanese mountains from the inside of Narita airport, but that doesn't count. I've lived in two of the states you've never visited:MI and KY. I think I've been to 18 states?? But I know I'll never go to them all--I really don't want to go to Alaska. I pretty much only want to go to warm places, MI is cold enough for me!
