When I was a bit out of it the week of my surgery, I missed sharing a few school projects that the kids brought home. So here is a bit of catching up!
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” I’m not sure when this is from, but Zachary says the boys are him and Simon, because Simon is his best friend. However, in real life he says he doesn’t like playing with Simon because Simon won’t listen!
Traditions of the Omer Period. The Omer is the time between Passover and Shavuot, in which the days are counted, and a period of partial mourning is observed. The things we don’t do during the Omer include (from top left) having a haircut, listening to live music, and weddings.
From Yom Ha’Atzmaut – Israel’s Birthday. The left is Zachary’s and the right is Gabbie’s.
Zachary made a “passport” as well. This is the front.

And for Jerusalem Day, which was this week. I love this and want to frame it!
I’ll be sharing more handmade items on Sunday – I already received what Simon made for me, but Zachary and Gabbie are saving theirs! Have a great weekend!
