January seemed to be a short month and we really didn’t do very much to get excited about! Here are some of the highlights:
Family Activities:
- Gabbie and I went to the American Girl store Girl of the Year celebration:
- We went to Wonderscope.
- We went to the zoo.
- We celebrated a first haircut.
Around The House:
- I worked on organizing the kitchen. Since this post I did get rid of the ugly dish racks!
Me:
- I finished knitting the Swing Swagger Harlequin Coat and I shared other knitting projects.
- I shared how I made my yarn swift.
- I shared my experience with custom sized dresses from eShakti.
- I shared our Disney autograph books.
- I did a virtual 5K.

It looks like you and Gabbie had such a blast.
Reagan and I are headed to the nature reserve today with another blogger friend.
Hopefully she'll let me take some pictures.
I have to do it in stealth mode.

We have an American Girl store and I want to go very badly. I had one growing up and can't wait until Violet is old enough for one.
What did you end doing to solve the dish rack problem?
January seemed like a short month to me, too! But it looks like you guys squeezed in a couple of really fun outings!
You have been productive - These American dolls seem to be very popular, I see them everywhere, is it the new "barbie"?
American girl is so fun for little girls! I'm excited to follow your blog.
Bookstore has celebrations for the newest doll of the year? I definitely need a daughter now, if only as an excuse for me to be able to attend them. Ha!
