Three and a half years ago when we came to Kansas to look for a house, I took the kids to Wonderscope. Just last week, we visited Wonderscope again, so I thought for this week’s Flashback Feature I’d do a little Then and Now comparison! Wonderscope is a children’s museum which is inside an old school building. Each room has a different theme.
First up – the water room. Then:
Now:
The art room. Then:
Now:
The train table in the hallway is still a hit. Then:
Now:
The ball room. Then:
Now:
Farm room. Then:
Now (this room has a few new things in it now as well):
There is also a doctor / vet area which the kids really like. We didn’t play in it that first time, so these are just pictures from now!
Gabbie is getting to be too old for Wonderscope now and found herself bored a few times while we were there. Simon on the other hand is starting to get more into the pretend play, as you can see him putting a baby to bed above!
Honestly I don’t even like taking the kids to places like this. It gets boring for me, plus usually one wants to do one thing while the other wants to do something else and it turns into a battle. Wonderscope also charges for adult admission, which I wish they wouldn’t! Do you have a place like this in your area and if so, what do you think?

Reminds me of the Please Touch Museum in Philly.
Reagan loved it there :)

I need to find some of these places, I keep forgetting too. I hate when they charge adult admission, when we went to zoo lights it was on the expensive side.
