One year ago we were in Disney World. We had the most amazing time! We were in the parks for 3 days – the first day we all went to the Magic Kingdom. The 2nd day, Dave went to work in Tampa and I took the kids back to the Magic Kingdom myself. Then after our side trip to Tampa, we were back one more day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We did a ton of character meet ups! Later this week I will show you how we did our autograph books. For today, here is a ton of my favorite pictures from the trip, taken both with my camera and by the photopass photographers. You can also check out my awesome Disney tips here.
Day 1:
Tinkerbell was pointing at a snail that Simon could have a staring contest with.
Our first ride – the Magic Carpets
What is Simon doing, I don’t know!
We met a lot of characters between 9-10 AM by getting to their greeting spots towards the beginning of their meet and greet times.
Gabbie showed Mary her Mary doll and we got her to say “Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious” backwards!
Gabbie had a costume change for our princess meets.
Day 2:
We arrived early enough for the morning show at the Magic Kingdom.
We headed straight to meet Rapunzel – now she is in with the other princesses so it is not quite as difficult to meet her!
We actually did ride a few rides, but as you can see we were really into characters!
Day 3:
We were once again first in line for these guys. We even rode Toy Story Mania before this!
Zachary was asked to wipe down Lightning McQueen.
Zachary showed Sorcerer Mickey his Sorcerer Mickey (who he sleeps with every night).
Zachary saw Lightning McQueen in the show and said “I didn’t think he was real, but he is!”
That was our trip in a nutshell! Don’t forget to come back later this week for a post about the autograph books we used. Also, while this would have made a great Flashback Feature post, I have another one in mind for tomorrow, so check back for that too!
