My Brother’s Wedding

We’re back from my brother’s wedding and I am here to share a few pictures with you! The wedding was in Atlanta at The Temple, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Atlanta. The ceremony was held in the beautiful sanctuary and I hope to share some of the professional photos when they are available. For now, the first two photos are from a friend of the bride and groom and the rest are a look into the wedding from the eyes of a young family.

A photo of the ceremony.

Mark and Sara striking a pose.

Just after the ceremony.

Gabbie the leaf girl and Zachary the proud brother. I am told Gabbie did well walking down the aisle, but I couldn’t see a thing! Hopefully the photographer got pictures!

The three crazy kids.

The new married couple.

Sara and my boys.

Sara’s flowers.

Gabbie and Sara.

The only full length view of me I have. Everyone seems to think I look amazing in this picture – I hate to imagine what I look like regularly!

Mark and kids 1 and 2.

Mark and the 3 kids.

Table place cards were mason jars with candy.

4 generations of women – me, Gramy, Mommy, Gabbie.

Table centerpiece. And the apples were real!

The Ketubah and the cake.

Closer view of the Ketubah (marriage contract)

My parents.

First dance.

Simon watching the dancing.

Simon and Sara.

Then Simon fell asleep.

Gabbie and Zachary sat like this throughout the party. I always imagined them dancing at Mark’s wedding.

Mark got Gabbie up for about a minute.

Cutting the cake.

Me, my brother, and our parents!

I will be back to share more from the wedding when I have the photos available, plus more on our trip to Atlanta later this week!

Looks like a fantastic wedding! Beautiful!
Do you still have family in NJ? Hope everyone is staying safe or evacuated. We are waiting for the big winds and power outages here.

Looks like it was a beautiful wedding but I see no pictures of your Uncle, are you sure he was there? Sorry I was unable to attend.

Wow, I've never seen a Jewish wedding before. Everyone looks so beautiful. And that is one huge synagogue! Now I am the entire ceremony in English or is Hebrew spoken throughout? I hope you don't mind me asking.
